International Calligraphic Art Exhibition

The International Calligraphic Art Exhibition, organised by the Cultural Centre of Islamic Republic of Iran was inaugurated yesterday at ‘Alfajar Art Gallery’ of the centre.

The exhibition is being organised to commemorate the 32nd anniversary of Iran’s Islamic Revolution.

Iranian Consul General in Karachi, Abbas Abdullah said in his address that the objective of the exhibition was to promote Muslim artists and the Islamic art, besides enhancing relations between the two countries.

He quoted a saying of renowned Muslim saint Shaikh Saadi, “Art is like a fountain, which facilitates all people and always remain precious.” He further suggested exchange of artist delegations to enhance relations between the two countries.
