The Museum Morsbroich presents Fred Sandback. Drawing that is habitable an exhibition on view 4 December 2011–13 May 2012.

The exhibition “Fred Sandback. Drawing that is habitable” comprises about 80 prints, a selection from Museum Morsbroich’s extensive stocks. In cooperation with the Estate of Fred Sandback, New York, the presentation is complemented by a string sculpture, one of those drawings in space that made the American famous (Bronxville, New York 1943–2003 New York). Moreover the exhibition provides an opportunity to see a work which Fred Sandback conceived in 1969 specially for the mirror room of Schloss Morsbroich on the occasion of the legendary exhibition “Konzeption – conception”.

Curator of the Fred Sandback exhibition is Fritz Emslander, Director of the Prints Collection.
